Americans for Peace Now today mourns the passing of a Senator Edward Kennedy, a long-time advocate of peace for Israel.

to sit down and negotiate directly on the terms and conditions of a
political settlement for the region. We must ensure, on the one hand, a
strong and secure Israel, while at the same time providing meaningful
help to the Palestinian people. This dual approach is the only
realistic basis for a lasting and secure peace."
