Letting Hamas Lead: In the wake of the continuing rocket attacks from Gaza into Israel, which injured two children on Saturday night, Israeli politicians are facing pressure to escalate Israel's military operations. Right-wing Knesset members have suggested striking at Hamas' political leaders. From within the cabinet, Ministers Ze'ev Boim (Kadima) and Yitzhak Cohen (Shas) called for an intensification of military measures and economic sanctions against the Gaza Strip.
