CLEVELAND - "An Evening For Peace: APN Honors Al Stern"

APN is pleased to be honoring the long-time leader and activist on behalf of peace

  • Screening of the ground-breaking documentary "Land of the Settlers" from Israeli journalist Chaim Yavin (the "Walter Cronkite of Israel")
  • Update on the current situation in Israel and the peace process from Debra DeLee, Americans for Peace Now President & CEO, and Mark Rosenblum, Americans for Peace Now Founder

For over thirty years Al Stern has worked as a tireless activist in service of peace and security for Israel and her neighbors. Al has been a leader in many organizations including, American's For Peace Now, The International Center For Peace In The Middle East, The Shalom Network, and The New Jewish Agenda. He is a founding member of the Jewish Secular Community of Cleveland. Since retiring from the business world in 1993 Al took on a full time volunteer job with ACLU of Ohio as the Legislative Coordinator.
