PAUL SCHAM is an Adjunct Scholar at the Middle East Institute in Washington, D.C.  Since 1988, he has been working on conflict resolution, civil society cooperation, and Israeli-Palestinian understanding, and is a frequent speaker, published writer, and guest on radio and television on these issues. Scham has lived in Jerusalem as a Fellow at the Truman Institute for the Advancement of Peace at Hebrew University, and has also lived in Jordan.
