Al-Omari was the lead Palestinian drafter of the Geneva Initiative and former Senior Advisor to Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas. He is currently a Senior Research Fellow at the New American Foundation and Advocacy Director of the American Task Force on Palestine ( a Palestinian American Organization advocating a peaceful two state solution.

Masters is the president of Brit Tzedek v'Shalom ( and a 20-plus year veteran of the U.S. Jewish Israeli-Palestinian peace movement. He sits on the board of the Greater Philadelphia Jewish Community Relations Council and the Philadelphia Metropolitan Area Jewish Labor Committee. Brit Tzedek v'Shalom is a 40,000 member network that educates and mobilizes American Jews in support of a negotiated two-state resolution of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
