Operation Hot Winter; Talking to Hamas; Diplomacy Now; What Happens in Gaza, Doesn't Stay in Gaza

Operation Hot Winter: "The IDF operation in Gaza seems to have run its course," reports Ma'ariv's Ben Caspit: "From an operation on a local scale no more can be expected. The Givati infantry brigade delivered the goods, the Southern Command won the praises of the decision-makers, the Palestinians paid dearly.  The message is clear. Israel took off its gloves, at low intensity for the present. If necessary it will happen again, on a bigger scale. On the other hand Hamas has learned the effectiveness of the Grad rocket. It has tasted the capability of paralyzing a large town in Israel. That taste is dangerous because it could be addictive."
