Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will travel to Israel and the West Bank next week. Her trip is another indication of the seriousness of President Barack Obama's efforts to renew the peace process.
Senator Diane Feinstein (D-CA) has drafted a letter urging Secretary Clinton to use this trip to underscore her "personal commitment, and that of President Obama, to Israel's security and to achieving Israeli-Palestinian peace." (Click HERE for the full text of the letter).
The letter sends an important message of congressional support for Israel, for Middle East peace, and for the administration's efforts in the region. APN is launching a push to get as many senators as possible to sign this letter.
The letter will be sent to Secretary Clinton on Friday afternoon (Feb 27), so senators need to cosign by noon on Friday.
Please call or email your senators. Urge them to cosign this timely and constructive letter.
