Combines Dynamic Content, Cutting Edge Technology

Washington, D.C - Americans for Peace Now (APN) today unveiled its new Web site, PeaceNow.org, designed as the most effective place on the Web for information, discussion and action on peace for Israel.

The site, which combines a clean, simple interface with state-of-the-art Web tools, seeks to activate APN's power-base and to attract new peace activists, DeLee said. "Our upgraded presence online both reflects and reinforces our enhanced footprint in Washington at this time, as a committed, can-do president makes a sincere push for peace. We are certain that the new site will also dramatically increase our effectiveness in educating the American public on the importance of bringing peace and security to Israel and its neighbors," said DeLee.

The new PeaceNow.org utilizes innovative technologies to harness social networking tools to create a hub in which anyone - activists in particular - can connect with leading experts, opinion leaders and opinion shapers of Middle East policy. At the site, they can find accessible policy data and analysis, a venue for discussion, and tools for action. "We are hoping to make PeaceNow.org into the place online where the conversation on Middle East peace happens," said Noam Shelef, APN's director of Strategic Communications.

With the new site, APN also unveils its fresh, new logo, which combines graphic references to the U.S. and Israeli flags and to the yearning for safe, permanent borders for Israel.

Americans for Peace Now is America's leading organization advocating Arab-Israeli peace. It is the gathering place for Americans who believe in Israel and believe in peace. It is the U.S. partner of Israel's Peace Now movement.
