Stopping the Brutalization of Israeli society

The Israeli-Palestinian conflict has innumerable costs. One of them is the psychological stress on Israeli society, which is gradually becoming more violent and more brutal.

This summer, a gunman killed two young people at a Tel Aviv gay and lesbian center.  A month earlier, a settler attacked a team of Peace Now activists who were surveying West Bank settlement construction. Last fall, militants tried to assassinate Professor Zeev Sternhell, a supporter of Peace Now.

This list, unfortunately, could go on.

In this video APN Spokesman Ori Nir relates the brutalization of Israeli society to incidents he witnessed when he covered the West Bank as a reporter twenty years ago.
